Creating ceramic planters is a craft
As mentioned ceramic planters are made of clay, a natural product. To turn clay into a stone-like material the material needs to be worked, shaped, dried and baked. This traditional production process is followed by the craftsmen of Portugal. The planters are baked at temperatures going up to 1020 degrees Celsius. Sometimes the temperatures in the ovens might differ. This creates slightly different planters which makes every planter unique!

Ceramic planters for indoor and outdoor usage
After the baking of the clay, ceramic planters are very strong and they will retain their shape. Due to a special finish and coating the planters are waterproof. Furthermore the planters are
UV-resistant. This means that the planters are usable indoors and outdoors. Indoors the planters give the place a natural look. Since the planters are available in different colours and shapes there are endless possibilities. Would you like to place your ceramic planters outside? No problem, when placed under a roof the planters will retain their beautiful look.
TIP! Are your planters getting dirty over the years? Don’t worry! With a moist wipe and some dishwashing soap you can easily clean your planters. A low maintenance choice!
